I lay on the floor
unable to sleep
I hear voices
it's 5am

I see a lot of people
resorting back to
something they know
won't work out

I can't help but wonder
the fragility of
a humans emotions
and how we all need

It causes more pain
over time, but still
they (we) continue
We're really animals.
